We are seeking a skilled MD Anesthesiologist to join our growing team and provide anesthesia services for patients undergoing dental and oral surgery procedures.Job Overview:The MD Anesthesiologist will be responsible for providing anesthesia services for patients undergoing full arch dental implant procedures, ranging from routine extractions to complex full-arch dental implant surgeries. The ideal candidate will ensure patient safety and comfort before, during, and after procedures. This role requires a compassionate professional who is adept at working in a multidisciplinary team and committed to delivering exceptional patient care.Key Responsibilities: Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations to assess patient health and develop individualized anesthesia care plans. Administer anesthesia during dental procedures, including IV sedation, for dental implant surgery. Monitor patients during surgery, adjusting anesthetic levels as needed to ensure patient safety and comfort. Collaborate with dental surgeons, surgical assistants, and other staff to coordinate safe and effective patient care. Manage anesthesia recovery and oversee patient transition to post-operative care. Educate patients and families on anesthesia plans, risks, and post-procedure care. Maintain detailed and accurate medical records related to anesthesia care. Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and medical guidelines, including American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) standards. Participate in continuing education and stay current with advancements in anesthesiology and pain management techniques. Qualifications: Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree with a specialization in Anesthesiology. Board certification in Anesthesiology. Active state medical license and DEA certification. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Experience in providing anesthesia in a dental or outpatient surgery setting is preferred but not required. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to patient safety and comfort. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
