Traffic Control Solutions is seeking a Highway Safety Flagman & Lane Closure Technician to learn the skill of setting up lane closures for construction and engineering companies working on our roads. We have immediate hiring positions available at our Jackson, NJ location and can start work the next day if hired. This is a full time on call position where 75% of working hours is during the day and 25% is at night and weekends.
Applicant must:
- Have a valid drivers license and own their own vehicle to get to our hub in Fairfield, NJ. Public transportation or being about to get a ride to our yard is not acceptable
- Bring their drivers abstract to interview
- Must be able and comfortable driving NON CDL flatbed trucks and be able to lift and carry 40lbs sign stands
- Have a working cell phone to receive emails for scheduling and use GPS to get to job site locations
- Must be able to pass random drug tests (Marijuana is an illegal substance, not permitted)
Position starts at $20.00 per hour and for reliable hard working employees TCS has contracts that pay prevailing wages at $100.00 per hour where employees can be places on at times throughout the year.
