A real estate investment and property management company that owns and manages a portfolio of approximately 50–60 single-family rental properties across Florida and California is seeking a full-time, detail-oriented assistant to help manage operations from its Lakewood, NJ office.
Responsibilities
Coordinate day-to-day property management tasks including tenant communications, maintenance scheduling, and vendor management.
Upload property listings into management platforms (Buildium, Yardi, or similar) and advertise on rental sites such as Zillow, Apartments.com, etc.
Track tenant leads, set up showings, and oversee leasing activity until vacancies are filled.
Manage rent collection tracking, lease renewals, and move-in/move-out processes.
Assist with acquisitions, loan documentation, and research for new investments.
Maintain organized records, ensure follow-through on tasks, and keep operations running smoothly.
Work independently in the office with regular progress reporting.
Qualifications
Experience in property management or real estate administration strongly preferred.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Proficient with computers, spreadsheets, and online management tools.
Reliable, self-motivated, and able to stay productive when working alone.
Flexible and willing to occasionally adjust hours to meet business needs.

Compensation: $25 per hour, and commensurate with experience
