Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and driven Outside Sales Representative to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will focus on cultivating new customer relationships within the general contracting world, particularly with electrical contractors. Your responsibilities will include managing existing relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and prospecting in territories where we currently lack a strong presence. You will be instrumental in driving growth and establishing trust with potential clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Cultivate new customer relationships and manage existing accounts with a focus on electrical contractors and general contractors.
Prospect new territories and build business opportunities where we have limited presence.
Update internal CRM system weekly and set/exceed weekly goals in alignment with senior management.
Develop and implement strategies to far exceed clients' needs and expectations.
Requirements:
3-5 years of experience in lighting sales, with a strong emphasis on B2B sales and industry relationships.
Entrepreneurial spirit with a “hunter” mindset for discovering and growing new business.
Rebate knowledge of PSEG and ConEd is a plus but not mandatory.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
Compensation:
Salary based on experience (BOE).
Competitive base salary plus an industry-leading commission structure.
