Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems and a passion for providing excellent customer service. This position involves diagnosing and repairing various HVAC systems, ensuring that our customers receive reliable and efficient cooling and heating solutions.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems, including air conditioning and refrigeration units, to ensure they are functioning properly and safely.
- Inspect and test equipment, such as compressors, coils, and condensers, to identify potential issues.
- Perform welding and fabrication tasks as needed to repair or modify HVAC components.
- Use specialized tools, including an ohmmeter, to diagnose electrical issues and perform necessary repairs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve HVAC system malfunctions, including those related to ammonia refrigeration.
- Collaborate with colleagues to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
- Document all work performed, including maintenance and repairs, in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Experience
- Minimum 4 years of experience as an HVAC Technician, with a strong background in equipment repair and maintenance.
- Knowledge of HVAC/R systems and their components, including air conditioning and refrigeration units.
- Proficiency with various tools and equipment, including an ohmmeter and welding equipment.
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Pay: $28.00 - $40.00 per hour
