Renewal by Andersen NJ/NY Metro, the replacement window division of the Andersen Corporation, the most recognized and largest window company in the world is seeking a full-time Window & Door Service Technician.
The Window and Door Service Technician is responsible for providing our homeowners with service on their previously installed windows and doors.
Job Description:
Accurate measuring of windows, bays, bows and patio doors
Determine materials needed for service
Service existing Renewal by Andersen products
Recognize situations that would impact customer expectations, job costs and/or code performance and provide solutions.
Document solutions for future reference & training purposes
Maintain a thorough knowledge of product, install techniques, and construction basics
Understands and adheres to the established Renewal by Andersen processes and standards
Strive for customer satisfaction by ensuring that customers accept proposed solutions and /or alternate techniques
Job Responsibilities, Qualifications and Skill Requirements:
3 years of replacement window installation, measuring & carpentry finishing experience
Demonstrate analytical problem solving and decision making skills
Solid communication skills; clear and readable written documents, graphics, drawings and messages
Proven organizational skills; prioritize and organize tasks efficiently and effectively
Mechanical aptitude: ability to dismantle and reassemble windows, window coverings and hardware
Ability to maintain perspective in resolving conflicts
Willingness to work variable work hours, adapt to schedule changes & accept process changes
Proven customer resolution skills
Valid drivers license
Must be able to lift 70 lbs
