Description:MUST HAVES: -Ability to perform wet chemistry techniques especially pH -Degree in the Sciences (Bachelors or Associates in Chemistry preferred) -Sample collection and analysis experience -Gas Chromatography experience or exposure (open to Academic in research) PLUSES: -Experience in the environmental industry or from a direct competitor -comfortable working with some hazardous and nonhazardous materials Job Description: Sample analysis in a lab- about 20 samples in a 12 hour time span Sampling of chemicals sent in and responsible for the coordination of leaving the facility after analyzed Wet Chemistry Gas Chromatography Solvent recycling- nothing hazardous, just flammable Instrument calibration Producing COAs (Certificate of Analysis) Reviewing orders and releasing materials on trucks (this will come after being in the role for a while) Skill Required: Understanding of BTU- British Thermal Units Degree preferred- not required (Chemistry or Enviro.
