Description: Our client is currently seeking a CAD Engineer for a 6 month + contract.
Description/Comment: Using Creo parametric software and existing complex models, creates precise assemblies using advanced Creo functions to create drawings. Works closely with design originators (e.g., product development, marketing) to resolve design details or discrepancies or to prepare drawings of unusual, complex or original designs. Creates, modifies, and controls three-dimensional parts and assembly drawings from engineers' and customer sketches, plans and written and verbal instructions. Creates BOM structure of parametric models and completes part attributes to enable promotion of models and drawings in the Windchill 11 PLM system. This is an individual contributor role that requires the use of judgement in applying professional expertise and is expected to work independently with minimal supervision. Job requires a demonstrated proficiency and application of Windchill 11 PLM, Creo 6.0 and concepts of own discipline. The job requires the ability to make judgements based on practice and previous experience. The job also requires the ability to seek out answers and support within the organization to progress on the model and drawings. This job typically requires a 4-year degree or equivalent experience. Orthopedic device experience a plus. Knowledge of ToolDesignSet in Creo a plus.
Additional Job Details: This is a hybrid role with on site days as necessary, therefore candidate must be able to be onsite within 24 hours notice.
