Description We are offering an opportunity for a Customer Service Representative to join our team in the Health Insurance industry! In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality customer service, processing customer applications, maintaining accurate customer records, and resolving customer inquiries.Responsibilities: Thoroughly understand and maintain knowledge of all products offered within the Health Insurance industry Provide high-quality assistance and satisfaction to all customers who contact the team Efficiently complete written correspondence, voice mail, and email messages from customers and/or insurance company contacts Document all inbound and outbound calls accurately and prepare notes for customer files Hold personal responsibility for the outcome of every customer interaction received, including necessary follow-ups Assist in updating and maintaining current documentation for all processes and procedures Stay updated with all relevant compliance and legal regulations Mentor and provide assistance to new team members Report any customer complaints or concerns to management in line with company customer complaint process Work actively to maintain customer retention Utilize Basic Office Skills, Customer Service, Data Entry - Numeric, and Data Entry skills as neededRequirements Minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer service role, preferably within the health insurance sector Proficiency in basic office skills, such as organizing, multitasking, and managing paperwork Strong customer service skills, with a proven ability to handle customer inquiries and resolve issues effectively Experience in data entry, with a focus on numeric data entry High level of accuracy and attention to detail, particularly when inputting data and maintaining records Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Familiarity with health insurance industry practices and terminologies Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain client confidentiality Comfortable working with computer systems and software, including Microsoft Office Suite Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and requirements High school diploma or equivalent educational qualification required; a degree or certification in a relevant field is a plus.
