Reporting to, and collaborating closely with, the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), the successful candidate is accountable for building and leading execution of a best-in-class marketing plan enabling the company to achieve growth objectives for our expanding branded Attention Deficient Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) portfolio. We are looking for a 'hands-on' leader who doesn't shy away from getting involved in all aspects of growing a lean, but dynamic, commercial organization.The successful candidate plays a key role in developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategy including traditional in-person and omnichannel marketing and digital media strategies. She/he is responsible for helping shape brand image, creating targeted Healthcare Provider (HCP) and Consumer campaigns, developing meaningful customer/influencer relationships and ensuring successful and ethical product promotion. She/he is also responsible for leading/managing our marketing team and collaborating with other critical functions including Sales, Managed Markets and Medical teams to help drive the growth of the Tris ADHD portfolio.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Primary duties/responsibilitiesLeads and directs development and execution of brand marketing strategiesLeads and participates in strategic and operational creation and implementation of annual strategic and tactical brand plans including clear success metrics and budget requirementsCreates, develops and implements HCP promotional materials used by field sales teamActively manages and leads advertising agencies and oversee key partner performance by establishing success metrics and executing periodic formal assessments Ensures development and execution of additional marketing materials and campaigns leveraging all appropriate channels to reach customersDevelops and executes a digital media strategy to reach HCPs and Patients/Parents to provide education and awareness of company products and ADHD therapeutic areaProspectively identifies new opportunities to enhance market share penetration within target market(s)Ensures all promotional materials, activities and related communications and programs are in full compliance with Medical, Legal, Regulatory and Corporate guidelines; Establishes, oversees implementation, and monitors adherence to administrative policies and procedures; Ensures collaborative and compliant communication between marketing and other cross-functional teams (i.e., Medical Affairs, Sales, Regulatory Affairs, Operations, etc.)Collaborates closely with Analytics team to establish, track and exceed marketing program key performance indicatorsPlans and manages departmental budget effectively and efficientlyManages, coaches and mentors direct reports RequirementsKNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES REQUIREDBachelors degree and minimum 9 years brand management/marketing experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry (including minimum 2 years as a Senior Product Manager or equivalent) in positions of increasing strategic and technical responsibility. Proven track record of building and maintaining successful relationships with advocacy organizations and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs)Strong understanding of pharmaceutical marketing practices including the regulatory environment and constraints, payor landscape and pricing, distribution, promotion etc.Deep knowledge of the pharmaceutical Legal, Medical, Regulatory review processDemonstrated experience in driving marketing strategy and market development program initiativesProven track record of successfully developing and executing marketing plans and brand strategies in the pharmaceutical industry Experience working on multi-channel marketing campaigns and programs through multiple stages including concept, implementation, executionExcellent working knowledge and experience with marketing strategy and product positioningExperience with digital campaign development and executionExperience working with, and/or managing, outside vendors including Advertising and Media agenciesPeople management experience Special knowledge or skills needed and/or licenses or certificates preferredAdvanced degree (i.e., MBA, MS) Experience in Attention Deficient Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) or Central Nervous System (CNS)/Psychiatry therapeutic areas Pharmaceutical sales or sales leadership experiencePrior experience leading brands Experience working in a start-up pharmaceutical environment Travel requirements20 - 25% including overnight stays expectedOther considerationsRole is principally office-based in Monmouth Junction, NJ; Must be willing to work at our offices up to 4 days per weekTris Pharma, Inc. offers a highly competitive compensation and benefits package.
