Title: Manufacturing Engineer Location: Monroe Township, NJ Schedule: M-F Full Time Type: Direct Hire Responsibilities: Responsible for designing, implementing, and improving manufacturing processes and systems to optimize productivity, efficiency, and quality in the production of goods. The Manufacturing Engineer will also identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance the overall manufacturing operations.
Develop and optimize manufacturing processes, including workflow, layout, and equipment selection, to ensure efficient production and high-quality output.
Evaluate existing manufacturing processes and identifying areas for improvement.
Create and maintain manufacturing documentation, including work instructions, process specifications, and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Ensures manufacturing processes, equipment, and products comply with safety standards and legal regulations.
Evaluate manufacturing processes by designing and conducting research programs.
Improve manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout.
Provide manufacturing decision-making information by calculating production, labor, and material costs.
Participate in cross-functional teams for process improvement projects, new product introductions, or facility expansions. This includes coordinating timelines, resources, and budgets to achieve project objectives.
Develop manufacturing processes by studying product requirements, researching testing methods, and conferring with equipment vendors.
Requirements:
Degree in manufacturing, industrial, or mechanical engineering
2+ years of experience in manufacturing or industrial engineering preferred
Experience using CAD, CAM, data analysis programs, and related software
Strong communication, interpersonal, negotiation, consensus-building, and analytical skills with the ability to work successfully individually as well as in cross functional teams in an organized, fast paced environment while meeting time sensitive deadlines.
Proactive individual who manages with sound decision making and project execution skills
Possesses knowledge, experience, and hands-on leadership core values and keen people skills driving the sourcing organization in support of the product development team(s)
Proficiency in MS Software applications
High level of technical expertise and strong analytical thinking
