Seeking highly motivated Software Engineer to support the modernization of legacy software audit tools in support of the development effort of the Aegis Weapons System in Moorestown, NJ.
Responsibilities:
Work in a collaborative team using agile development methodology, performing the following tasks:
Translate legacy tools into a modern toolset
Performs subsystem definition, preliminary and detailed design, design implementation, subsystem and system integration, and testing.
Researches problems and develops solutions
Participates in software requirements review, preliminary and critical design reviews, integration readiness review, and software acceptance reviews.
Provide application and technical support to user community.
Minimum Requirements
Experience with Linux environments
3 to 5 years of experience developing and testing software using Python, C, C, Java, or other high-level programming languages
Experience implementing UNIX shell scripts
Experience working with various UNIX environments and Microsoft Office Tools
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
US Citizenship in order to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
Preferred Skills
Experience writing Unit and Regression Tests
Experience with Python scripting
Experience with Object Oriented design/development
Education:
Bachelor degree (in Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Information Systems, or related field) or equivalent related work experience.
