The position will report to the Manager, Product QA in the RMS Quality and Aviation Safety organization. The candidate will provide quality expertise, as required, supporting multiple production programs to include supplier, manufacturing, and technical support. Support of multiple sites and Customers is included in this position, and some extended travel stays may be required. The position will lead several functions of Product/Mfg QA.Basic Qualifications:The ideal candidate will have Engineering, Quality, Aerospace, manufacturing and site support experience.Possess ability to understand and communicate typical engineering and manufacturing concepts and processes.Have knowledge and experience of inspection processes and methods, as well as the ability to read and interpret technical data.Working knowledge of various Quality Management systems (incl. AS9100), and able to affect change & set policy of the QMS.Bachelor degree or higher in Engineering, Operations Management, Quality, Aerospace or related field requiredMust have leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with various customer and mgmt. representatives.Travel Requirements: 15% - 30%Desired Skills:Organized and detail oriented, have ability to multi-task in a production environment.Experience with System-Level Test, Software processes, and CMMI.Experience with budgeting, EVM, and Proposal supportSubject Matter Expert in Nonconforming Material control, MRB, NCR, Scrap, etc.Welding experience and NDT.Experience MES/Solumina/COS and other Manufacturing Mgmt tools.Quality support of Sustainment activities.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:job.QualificationsLockheed Martin is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
