Collaborate with senior management to effectively formulate budget proposals, facilitate access to project finance data, and ensure adherence to contract/grant requirements and reporting standards.
Conduct research on potential revenue streams and economic trends, assess internal processes, and pinpoint areas for cost reduction and operational improvement.
Manage risk by analyzing company liabilities and investments, and oversee capital structure and fundraising efforts.
Supervise HR functions by liaising with external service providers (e.g., payroll, benefits, recruitment) and internal HR personnel.
Utilize tracking tools to monitor business performance, implement necessary corrective actions, and generate comprehensive reports for earnings calls, the management team, and the broader organization.
Requirements
The ideal Controller candidate should have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education. MBA or CPA strongly recommended.Other requirements for the Controller position include and are not limited to:
5+ years of experience in executive leadership roles
International finance experience
Experience in mergers and acquisitions and investor relations
Executive experience with SaaS business models and their associated revenue recognition
Exceptional verbal, written, and visual communication skills
Understanding of advanced accounting, regulatory issues, and tax planning
