About the Role:The Cook is an integral part of our culinary team, responsible for delivering delicious and nutritious meals for our residents. This role will encompass meal preparation, adherence to dietary requirements and ensuring high standards of food safety and hygiene.This is a permanent full-time position working 4 days on, 2 days off starting 7 am - 3.30 pm.Your responsibilities will include:Food preparation according to established menus and dietary requirements & preferencesMaintaining strict adherence to food safety standards including food storage, handling and cooking techniquesPreparing and cooking set meals to residents’ satisfaction in a timely mannerBuilding and managing rapport with direct reports with full accountability for all aspects of coaching and performance developmentComplying with all food safety requirements and maintaining high levels of food hygiene at all times
