This is a National/Remote field-based position. Candidates from alternative cities are encouraged to apply but should live in close proximity to a large airport hub.The Infectious Diseases / Antimicrobial Resistance Federal Account Director is a customer-facing role responsible for leading and implementing market access strategies and tactics to drive sales throughout the DOD, VA, and Coast Guard. This role is conducted in a highly ethical and knowledgeable manner. This is a field-based position.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Our employees are tasked with delivering excellent business results through the efforts of their teams. These results are achieved by the following:Develop strategic account plans that drive profitable growth, prioritize new business opportunities, and expand access across all Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISNs), and major Department of Defense (DoD) hospitals. Lead contracting strategy and negotiations for formulary placement with the federal program PBM(s).Build strong relationships with key decision makers, including KOLs, VISN Pharmacist Executives (VPEs), and outpatient parenteral antimicrobial therapy (OPAT) TRICARE executives—to identify opportunities, support pull through initiatives, and address reimbursement and access challenges.Serve as a strategic partner to Field Sales and cross functional teams to ensure clear communication of VISN and DoD access.Demonstrate expertise in transitions-of-care issues such as readmissions, length of stay, mortality, and resistance trends, ensuring customer value and alignment with organizational growth strategy.Coordinate with and mentor representatives, sharing understandings where opportunities of crossover between federal and public health system KOLs exist.Demonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion through continuous development, modeling inclusive behaviors, and proactively managing bias.All other duties as assigned.EXPECTATIONS OF THE JOB:Travel: As needed to do the job up to 50% of travel will be requiredHours: Full time position 40+ hours per weekThe above list reflects the general details necessary to describe the expectations of the position and shall not be construed as the only expectations that may be assigned for the position.#LI-CG1
