Our client is a well-known chemical business that is looking for a Finance Clerk, located in Kearny, NJ.
SALARY/HOURLY RATE:
$20/hr - $25/hr Depending on experience
POSITION OVERVIEW:
Our client is looking for an experienced Finance Clerk to help complete their daily accounting tasks such as bank reconciliations, ACH payments, assist with reporting, and ensure accurate data entry and maintenance of company accounting records. Strong organization and attention to detail are a must for a successful candidate. The ideal candidate for this Finance Clerk position is a team player who is motivated and focused.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE FINANCE CLERK:
Code and post payments
Assist with journal entries
Assist management in payables as necessary
Bank reconciliations
Ad-hoc projects as necessary
QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE FINANCE CLERK:
1 - 3 years of Accounting experience
Knowledge of Accounting Software and Microsoft Office is required
Well organized and a multitasker
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree is preferred
