RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and estates.
- Conduct tax research and planning to minimize tax liabilities.
- Collaborate directly with clients and provide exceptional customer service.
- Assist with tax audits and respond to inquiries from taxing authorities.
- Prepare tax projections and assist with special projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a small or medium public accounting firm
- Experience in tax preparation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong knowledge of individual, corporate and partnership taxes.
- Proficiency in tax software and other accounting tools.
- Proficiency with QuickBooks ( Desktop and Online )
- Knowledge of Drake tax software preferred but not essential
- High attention to detail and accuracy and an ability to work under tight deadlines.
