Shift: Tuesday-Saturday 11:00am-8:00pm (Flexible working different hours)
Location: Phillipsburg NJ
Description
Oversees all aspects of the Warehouse Operations, on assigned shift, including assigning, directing, and monitoring work of the Warehouse staff.
Ensure effective customer service, quality & compliance, positive employee relations, safety & security.
Essential Duties:
Supervises and directs warehouse staff in performing work according to sound Warehouse operating principles & procedures,
Communicating with customers to answer shipping and receiving questions and troubleshoot problems
Monitoring inventory and shipment transactions for accuracy
Ensuring inventory and storage areas are clean and maintained
Monitor performance of staff to ensure timely pick-ups, deliveries, transfers and excellent customer service with zero damage or losses.
Maintains effective inventory controls and records to ensure inventory accuracy and conducts cycle counts on predetermined schedule.
Documents, records and reports of all inventory discrepancies to the Warehouse Manager in a timely manner.
Trains Warehouse staff in effective operations, safety & security.
Maintains a positive employee relations environment in compliance with Company policies.
Prepares and submits daily and weekly paperwork in a timely manner.
Recommends daily staffing requirements based on volume.
