Background: Budget Home & Office Cleaning is a residential & commercial cleaning business that has served Rockland County for 50 years. We are now expanding to Bergen County, NJ & Westchester County, NY.
Key Responsibilities:
Residential & Commercial Cleaners: are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of private residences and sanitation of commercial spaces like offices, businesses, and other work environments by performing various cleaning tasks such as sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, emptying trash bins, wiping down high-touch areas and surfaces, cleaning/disinfecting bathrooms & restrooms, kitchens, and appliances.
General Cleaning:
Dusting furniture, fixtures, & surfaces
Vacuuming carpets and rugs
Sweeping & mopping floors
Removing trash & debris from designated areas
Emptying trash cans & recycling bins
Cleaning windows and glass doors
Spot-cleaning spills & stains
Disinfecting door handles, light switches, handrails & elevator buttons
Kitchen Cleaning:
Wiping down countertops, sinks & appliances
Cleaning sinks, drains, stovetops & ovens
Loading and unloading dishwasher (if applicable)
Emptying trash cans
Bathroom & Restroom Cleaning:
Sanitizing & Disinfecting toilets, urinals, sinks & tubs
Cleaning mirrors, fixtures & shower doors
Restocking paper towels, soap dispensers, & toilet paper
Other Cleaning Tasks (depending on client needs):
Washing windows
Cleaning inside appliances (refrigerator and ovens)
Wiping down baseboards & blinds
Changing bed linens
Vacuuming upholstery
Fold and put laundry away
Make beds
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Physical Ability: Ability to stand, bend, kneel & reach high areas & lift moderate weights for extended periods
Attention to Detail: Meticulous cleaning practices to ensure thoroughness
Cleaning Knowledge: Familiarity with proper cleaning techniques and products
Time Management: Efficiently completing cleaning tasks within allotted timeframes
Reliability and Punctuality: Consistently arriving on time & following established schedules
Customer Service: Professional interaction with clients & addressing any concerns
Valid driver's license & reliable transportation
Understands and speaks basic English
Schedule & Salary:
Part-time (between 10-30 hours per week)
We can be flexible with your personal and school schedules.
We offer morning, afternoon, evening & weekend schedules.
$20 per hour
