Container drayage operation has an opening for an experienced person to assist with the daily management of our customer service department. The candidate must be familiar with import / export container drayage. You will work under the owner to assist with overseeing a small group of customer service representatives. The person we are looking for MUST have industry experience, enjoys working under pressure and is a team player. This is a terrific opportunity for a person that is looking for a secure future with the possibility of moving into a managerial position.
Responsibilities:
Entering customer delivery orders into our system.
Monitoring vessel arrivals and up-dating ETA's.
Checking container availability at ocean terminals
Scheduling pick-up and delivery appointments with customers.
Providing exceptional customer service when responding to customer inquiries.
Skills:
Working experience in customer service related to TRUCKING
Ability to think strategically and to direct.
Effective communications skills
Strong troubleshooting and multi-tasking skills
Proficient computer skills (Access / Excel / E-mail communication)
