Small Northern NJ architectural firm looking for project manager with residential and commercial project construction drawing experience.
Proficiency of AutoCAD and Architectural Desktop is required. We have several projects that require drawings be prepared using AutoCAD. At the start of each project we will forward all relevant documentation to you. Preliminary construction drawings [CDs] will be drafted using AutoCAD and sent back to us for review. We will forward any comments to be added to the drawings. Final CDs will be sent back to us.
Qualified candidate must have:
a. Minimum of 3-5 years verifiable US experience in a licensed Architect's office.
b. Architect license preferred but not required.
c. Strong construction documentation skills.
d. Understanding of construction details.
e. CAD based knowledge of structure.
f. Knowledge of the NJ state and local building codes.
g. Ability to deliver projects on schedule.
This position is a mostly remote freelance position. The ideal candidate will live in proximity to the northern New Jersey area where most of the projects are located. There will be both virtual and in-person meetings during the course of each project.
This is a 1099 position working on simple fee projects.
