Administrative Assistant – Hospitality Industry (Whippany, NJ)
Are you an organized, friendly, and detail-oriented person looking to build a career in the hospitality industry? We are a well-established catering company with a long history of providing exceptional service, and we are looking for a full-time Administrative Assistant to join our team!
Job Responsibilities:
Answering phones and taking catering/event orders
Creating invoices using QuickBooks
Inputting event details into Excel spreadsheets
Designing signs for catered buffet displays
Assisting with general administrative tasks
What We’re Looking For:
A positive attitude, great personality, and genuine kindness
The ability to remain patient and professional when speaking with a variety of customers, including corporate clients, engaged couples, and event planners
Strong multitasking skills and attention to detail
Experience with QuickBooks and Excel (preferred, but we can train the right person)
Interest in the hospitality and catering industry
Schedule & Opportunities:
Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
