Seeking Assistant Manager for established successful restaurant in Golf course in Wayne, NJ. The restaurant is dynamic and popular with locals and foodies. The food program is Modern American - expressing principles of quality, skill of execution, and freshness of ingredients. Bar program is progressive, large, and diverse.
The position entails traditional manager responsibilities: schedules, guest interaction and relations, service team direction and support, concept and morale driving, service standards enforcement, support of management team. Restaurant experience a must. Concentration on floor presence, steps of service, staff training and continuing education, accountability. Ideal candidate will have been a front of house team member for at least three years, service trainer, and a manager for 2+ years. Must be able to work holidays, nights and weekends, without exception.
