Responsibilities:
Prepare and mix dough for various baked goods, including bread, pastries, and other items
Shape, portion, and roll dough for products such as loaves, rolls, and cookies
Assist in assembling pastries, cakes, and other items for baking or decoration
Ensure proper proofing of dough and monitor baking times for quality and consistency
Maintain a clean and organized workspace to meet hygiene and safety standards
Follow all recipes, guidelines, and procedures to ensure the best quality products
Assist with other bakery tasks as needed
Requirements:
Previous experience in a bakery or food production environment preferred
Strong knowledge of dough preparation, shaping, and assembly techniques
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team environment
Attention to detail and commitment to quality
Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain cleanliness
Ability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
