Bareburger New Jersey is Hiring Managers and Kitchen Managers for all of our locations!
Bareburger restaurants offer mouth-watering organic burgers and sandwiches, fresh salads, delicious shakes and snacks in environmentally sustainable, eco-friendly locations. FOH Managers:
- Overseeing every aspect of restaurant operations.
-Ensures excellent guest service that meets or exceeds expectations!
-Controlling day-to-day operations - profit & loss, by following cash control/security procedures, reviewing financial reports, and taking appropriate actions.
-Operating the business in accordance with the company policies and applicable laws.
Will directly impact interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
-Responsible for all financial (invoices, reporting) and personnel/payroll related administrative duties, completed accurately, on time and in accordance with Company policies and procedures.
-Manage all shifts, which include daily decision-making, staff support, scheduling and planning while upholding standards, product quality and cleanliness.
-Maximizing table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour.
-Monitor daily activities to ensure quality food and cleanliness standards.
-Meet the restaurant's Profit and Loss/Expense goals
-Promoting suggestive selling techniques.
Requirements:
+2 years of Full Service Restaurant Experience
-Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time and work a 55-60 hour work week (two days off)
-Ability to reach, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, push and pull items weighing 50 pounds or less
-Ability to CARE AND HAVE FUN!
Kitchen Managers:
-Manage day to day kitchen operations and assist the FOH Management team with communication and daily goals
-Lead a team of prep, line cooks and dishwashers
-Recruit, interview and train all kitchen staff
-Conduct employee performance reviews, coaching and counseling
-Cover employee schedule requests/callouts
-Meet key financial objectives by controlling food and labor costs
-Responsible for daily, weekly and monthly inventory
-Responsible for ordering, receiving and approving of all products upon arrival
-Ensure that all employees adhere to company safety practices, procedures and uniforms
-Maintain safe food storage, preparation, and cooling techniques per Health Department guidelines
Requirements:
+2 years of Kitchen Management experience in fast-paced restaurants
-Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time and work a 55-60 hour work week (two days off)
-Ability to reach, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, push and pull items weighing 50 pounds or less
-Ability to CARE AND HAVE FUN!
