Cashier – Efi’s Gyro (Montclair)

Monday–Friday: 4:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Saturday: 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Job Overview:
We’re looking for a friendly, reliable Cashier to join our team at Efi’s Gyro in Montclair. As the first point of contact for our guests, you’ll provide excellent customer service, handle transactions efficiently, and help maintain the upbeat, welcoming atmosphere we’re known for.
Responsibilities:
Greet customers warmly and assist with ordering at the counter.
Accurately handle cash, credit, and mobile payments.
Operate the POS system and ensure receipts/orders are correct.
Communicate menu items and promotions clearly to guests.
Keep the cashier station and dining area clean and organized.
Assist team members with light duties during slower periods (bagging orders, stocking, etc.).
Qualifications:
Previous cashier or customer service experience preferred, but not required.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Reliable, punctual, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Basic math and problem-solving skills.
