Must speak fluent Haitian Creole, French and English. Understanding of Haitian customs & business practices.
2 years experience in roasting coffee on a Loring Falcon (or equivalent). 2 years experience in coffee supply chain & green coffee. Experience in coffee packing, shipping and warehouse duties a plus. Licenses required: NYC ServSafe Food handler's license, SCA Intermediate or Advanced Roasters certificate, SCA Intermediate or Advanced Coffee Sensory certificate. OSHA Forklift certificate a plus and OSHA General Warehouse Safety Certificate necessary. Leading public coffee tastings and workshops a plus. Bachelors degree or higher also a plus.
