Job Overview
We are looking for a personable, friendly and reliable Person to join our Cafeteria team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working in a laid-back environment. This job does not require any evenings or weekends. Cafeteria is closed on all major holidays. This job could be perfect for a retired person looking to supplement their income. As a team member, you will help prepare and serve breakfast and lunch . You will work together with a member of our cafeteria who will run the cash register and assist.you whenever needed. If you have experience in food handling, kitchen work, or the food industry, and love being creative, we want to hear from you!
Duties
Prepare and cook breakfast and lunch
Support menu planning by helping to organize ingredients and supplies needed for daily service.
Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and cleanliness in all aspects of food service.
Maintain cleanliness of the cafeteria area, including kitchen surfaces, utensils, and dining spaces.
Support small meetings and events or special meal services as needed, ensuring timely delivery and setup.
Requirements
Previous experience in food service environments preferred.
Knowledge of menu planning, food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety regulations.
Experience working in the food industry is a plus.
Proficiency in meal preparation are desirable.
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Good communication skills
