We are looking for an organized and customer-focused Cashier/Server to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing multiple tasks, including handling cash transactions, answering phone calls, and serving customers both in-person and over the phone. You must be able to work efficiently under pressure, especially during peak hours, and manage multiple phone lines and tables simultaneously with a positive attitude. Must have previous server & POS experience.
This is a Full - Time Position
REQUIREMENTS:
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their orders, both in-person and over the phone.
- Accurately handle cash transactions, including processing payments and making change.
- Answer multiple phone lines promptly, taking orders, answering customer inquiries, and redirecting calls as needed.
- Provide excellent table service by taking orders, delivering food and beverages, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Manage multiple tables efficiently, balancing service between dine-in customers and phone orders.
- Maintain a clean and organized front-of-house area, including the cashier station, dining area, and service counters.
- Monitor and manage the flow of customers and phone orders to ensure timely service.
- Handle customer complaints and issues with professionalism and a focus on resolution.
- Assist with opening and closing duties, including reconciling cash drawers and preparing the restaurant for the next day.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accuracy and timeliness of orders.
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a cashier, server, or in a similar service role is required.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both in person and over the phone.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and during busy periods.
- Experience with POS systems and cash handling.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
