American Diner located inside Newark Airport is hiring an EXPERIENCED GRILLMAN-Cook with FULL, OPEN AVAILABILITY for FULL TIME AM & PM Shifts.
Currently looking to cover the:
4AM - 1:00PM Shift
12PM - Close Shift. The store closes once the last flight has boarded which is usually around 11PM during off peak season and 12AM during summer and off peak season.
We schedule 32-36 hours per work week.
We are looking for ENERGETIC, MOTIVATED & HARD WORKING people to join our team.

MUST HAVE OPEN AVAILABILITY AND ABLE TO WORK ON WEEKENDS AND HOLIDAYS
HERE'S WHAT YOU NEED TO JOIN OUR TEAM:
- Ability to READ & CALL Kitchen Tickets with food orders on them
- Ability to CONTROL THE KICHEN PRODUCTION OUTPUT in a timely manner
- Able to Control the Kitchen in order to Keep Ticket Times under 6 minutes
- At least 3 years of line cooking experience in a high volume kitchen
- Great Responsibility and Integrity.
- Excellent Communication & Interpersonal skills, and basic math skills
- A GREAT ATTITUDE
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 50lbs. as needed
- Continuous bending, reaching, twisting, and use of hands and arms.
- FULL BACKGROUND CHECKS CONDUCTED FOR EMPLOYMENT AT THE AIRPORT.
- MUST HAVE VALID WORK AUTHORIZATION & IDENTIFICATION DOCUMENTATION INCLUDING: US PASSPORT, GREEN CARD, WORK AUTHORIZATION CARD, STATE ID or DRIVERS LICENCE and SOCIAL SECURITY CARD
