Job Description:
We are seeking a clean, mature, punctual, and professional Executive Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations, including scheduling, hiring, inventory management, portion control, food cost management, and creating weekly specials. Effective communication with both front-of-house staff and kitchen members is essential.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee daily kitchen operations
- Schedule and coordinate kitchen staff
- Hire and train kitchen personnel
- Maintain inventory and manage ordering of supplies
- Ensure portion control and minimize waste
- Monitor and manage food costs
- Develop and update the menu, including weekly specials
- Communicate effectively with front-of-house staff and all kitchen members
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role
- Strong knowledge of Italian cuisine
- Excellent leadership and management skills
- Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred
