We are seeking a skilled and experienced Bench Worker to join our team The ideal candidate is fast, reliable, and creative, with a strong background in shaping and prepping a variety of doughs and baked goods. From breads and bagels to pastries, cookies, and bars, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our products are consistently top-notch.
Key Responsibilities:
-Shape, prep, and handle a wide variety of doughs, including breads, bagels, pastries, cookies, and bars.
-Maintain precision and consistency in product outcomes, adhering to recipes and quality standards.
-Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
-Collaborate with the baking team to ensure smooth production flow and meet deadlines.
-Uphold cleanliness and organization in the workspace, following food safety and sanitation guidelines.
-Contribute creative ideas for new products or improvements to existing recipes.
Qualifications:
-Proven experience as a bench worker or similar role in a bakery setting.
-Strong knowledge of dough handling, shaping, and baking techniques.
-Formal education or training in baking and pastry arts is highly preferred.
-Ability to work quickly and efficiently without compromising quality.
-Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing consistent results.
-Creative mindset with a passion for artisan baking.
-Reliable, punctual, and a team player with a positive attitude.
