La Bella Pizza is a family-owned pizzeria known for high-quality pizza and friendly service. We are reopening our kitchen and looking for skilled, reliable cooks to help relaunch our full menu.
Job Summary
We are seeking two experienced cooks to prepare sandwiches, salads, pasta, entrées, appetizers, soups, and catering items. Ideal candidates have a background in Italian cuisine and can work efficiently in a busy environment.
Responsibilities
Prepare sandwiches, salads, pasta dishes, entrées, appetizers, soups, and catering orders
Ensure consistent quality, portioning, and presentation
Follow food safety, sanitation, and allergen protocols
Assist with kitchen prep and maintain a clean, organized workspace
Communicate clearly with team members and customers
Follow written recipes, instructions, and safety guidelines
Requirements
Documented cooking experience required
Experience in a pizzeria or Italian restaurant preferred
Pizza-making experience a plus, not required
Valid Food Handler Certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)
Must be able to communicate effectively with customers and coworkers
Must be able to read and follow written recipes and instructions
Reliable, professional, and able to handle a fast-paced environment
Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs
W-2 employment only; all compensation is processed through weekly payroll
