Overview

The ideal candidate must have at least 5 years of kitchen experience and demonstrate a strong work ethic and commitment to excellence.
Responsibilities
1. Prepare and cook high-quality meals according to established recipes and standards.
2. Prepare and cook a variety of menu items to meet quality standards.
3. Assist with menu planning and food presentation to ensure an appealing dining experience.
4. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of food items.
5. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and other cooking tools.
6. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service and efficient workflow.
7. Monitor food inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
8. Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling techniques.
9. Go above and beyond to maintain a high-performing kitchen environment.
Experience
1. Previous experience in a restaurant or catering environment is preferred.
2. Familiarity with dietary aide responsibilities is a plus for those working in dietary departments.
3. Strong skills in food preparation techniques, including knife skills and cooking methods.
4. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality.
5. A team-oriented mindset with a willingness to help others in the kitchen.
