'Lula' is a New American restaurant opening in Ridgewood, New Jersey that focuses on eclectic, local, sustainable food practices with an emphasis on community and family.
We are currently seeking a General Manager that shares our passion for its cuisine, embraces a team-oriented style of service and is able to balance the nuanced demands of this dynamic position. Above all, we're looking for someone who shows up every day with a positive attitude.
Key Focus:
Works closely alongside Owner/Executive Chef to ensure proper standards are met and exceeded on a nightly basis
Lead and Manage Front of House staff to uphold standards of service.
Ensuring guests have an enjoyable dining experience as well as building guest relationships for repeat guests.
Serves as a role model and sets a positive example in all aspects of the business
Creates an environment for employees that align with the company culture through constant positive communication skills
Provide direction, instruction, and education to all Front of House employees.
Understanding that we require a positive and respectful attitude in the workplace.
Understand and strive to behave in a way that is in line with our values of respect, excellence, and transparency.
Actively looks for opportunities with community outreach and engagement to build sales.
Reviews and manages the reservation platform (Resy) to maximize the sales opportunities and protect the guest experience.
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years experience in the restaurant industry.
Knowledge of computers/technology (Microsoft Word, Excel).
Must be detail oriented, and passionate about teaching others.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include days, nights, weekends and holidays.
Must have excellent time management and organizational skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills with customers and employees.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
