We’re seeking an experienced Front of House (FOH) Manager to lead our guest-facing operations. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in hiring and building high-performing teams from the ground up, while driving significant improvements in sales performance and fostering seamless communication between FOH and Back of House (BOH) teams. Key Responsibilities:

Team Building & Hiring: Recruit, onboard, and develop FOH staff (servers, hosts, bartenders, etc.) from scratch, creating cohesive teams that deliver outstanding service. Implement training programs to ensure team members are aligned with company standards and culture.

Sales Optimization: Analyze sales data, identify trends, and implement strategies to dramatically boost revenue, such as upselling techniques, menu promotions, and guest loyalty initiatives. Aim for measurable growth in average check size and repeat business.

Communication & Collaboration: Bridge the gap between FOH and BOH by facilitating clear, effective communication. Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow, resolve real-time issues, and promote a unified team environment that enhances overall operational efficiency.

Guest Experience Management: Oversee daily FOH operations, including reservations, seating, and service standards, to create memorable dining experiences that drive positive reviews and word-of-mouth referrals.

Performance Improvement: Monitor key metrics (e.g., labor costs, guest satisfaction scores) and introduce process improvements to elevate team performance and operational excellence.

Compliance & Safety: Ensure adherence to health, safety, and licensing regulations, while maintaining a welcoming and inclusive workplace.

Qualifications:

3+ years of experience as an FOH Manager or similar role in hospitality/restaurant management.

Demonstrated success in hiring and scaling teams from scratch in a startup or high-growth environment.

Proven ability to dramatically improve sales figures (e.g., 20%+ growth in previous roles) through data-driven strategies.

Exceptional communication skills, with a focus on collaborating effectively with BOH teams to minimize errors and maximize efficiency.

Strong leadership presence, problem-solving abilities, and a passion for mentoring staff.

Familiarity with POS systems, reservation software (e.g., OpenTable), and inventory management tools.

High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or related field preferred.

Availability for flexible scheduling, including peak hours
