Job Summary:
As our cook, you’ll be responsible for preparing a variety of breakfast and lunch items including bagels, eggs, deli sandwiches, salads, and soups. You’ll play a key role in maintaining food quality, kitchen cleanliness, and smooth day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook breakfast and lunch items to order
Slice deli meats, cheeses, and prep ingredients daily
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen
Ensure food is prepared safely and in accordance with health codes
Assist with inventory and restocking as needed
Work as part of a team to ensure customer satisfaction and timely service
Requirements:
Proven experience as a cook in a deli, café, or fast-paced kitchen environment
Ability to multitask and work efficiently during busy hours
Familiarity with basic kitchen equipment and food safety standards
Strong work ethic and reliability
Early morning availability; weekend shifts may be required
Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
