Reliable transportation required. Job starting pay is $20/hr on the books (with raise to $21 depending on your ability), direct bank deposit. We are a small mom and pop type deli and have been at this location for 19 years. This is not a large franchise or fast food establishment. We do pick up/to go and deliveries, as well as seating for 42. We need someone who is easy to work with and can work fast. Our customers expect their orders to be prepared a certain way and you must be able to follow directions and prepare the meals accordingly.
GRILL COOK:
The pay is $20 on the books for qualified applicants. M - F 7:00 am to 3 pm and Sat 8 am to 2 pm, 46 hr/week. Closed Sunday.
Looking for experienced person who can keep up with the lunch rush. The station has a flat top, a fryer and a charbroiler. Breakfast involves egg sandwiches, omelets, pancakes, bacon/sausage etc We have a POS system so orders print in the kitchen automatically. Lunch involves lots of grilled chicken for salads or sandwiches, cheesesteaks, gyros, fries etc.
The first 45 minutes of your day will include cleaning a case of chicken breast (40 lbs). Prepping your station (cutting peppers, onions, etc), cleaning the charbroiler for lunch, etc is required.
Other duties include cleaning up your work area, sweeping and mopping your station. Saturday allows some extra time to clean your work area more thoroughly. We are very particular about cleanliness and hygiene. If you do not like to keep your area clean then please do not apply!
