High-end, high-volume steakhouse is looking for both full-time and part-time positions for our Fair Lawn location.
Our host/hostesses are the face of the restaurant, therefore, we will need to have the following qualities:
Outgoing – Articulate – Well Groomed – Professional – Punctual – Works Well Under Pressure – Warm and Pleasant Demeanor
Flexible hours are a must, availability must cover one or multiple shifts including but not limited to nights, weekends and holidays.
Experience is a plus but not required.
Host/Hostess Responsibilities:
Greeting guests at the door
Answering the phone, taking reservations on the Resy system
Answering guests questions
Seating guests while providing them menus
Clean menus in between use
Have strong knowledge of the menu
Knowledge of seating patterns, to be able to seat gusts properly
Able to stand in one position for long periods of time
Willingness to help other staff members if able to during down times
Strong communication skills
Compensation is hourly pay $15 to $20 per hour based upon experience
