Qualifications

- Valid Food Handler’s Certificate (or willingness to obtain one within two weeks of hiring)

- Solid understanding of food safety, sanitation standards, and allergen protocols

- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy ingredients repeatedly throughout a shift

- Must be comfortable working in cold environments (e.g., freezers and batch rooms)

- Ability to follow precise instructions and recipes with a high level of attention to detail

- Self-motivated with excellent time management and organizational skills

- Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and strong work ethic

- Availability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Job Responsibilities

- Exercise excellent time management to ensure all tasks are completed promptly and accurately

- Able to handle in all areas of production including: , mixing bases, baking inclusions, and prepping sauces and toppings

- Prepare ice cream and sorbet according to the daily production schedule, using proper batch freezing equipment and techniques

- Follow all recipes with precision, carefully weighing and measuring ingredients to the gram as required

- Properly label and date all batches using established batch tracking systems

- Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized work environment at all times in accordance with food safety standards

- Clean and sanitize production areas, equipment, and utensils throughout and after shifts

- Receive, unpack, and organize deliveries; ensure all items are checked for quality and stored according to FIFO (First-In, First-Out) procedures

- Monitor and restock kitchen inventory as needed, informing the Kitchen Manager of low stock items

- Work collaboratively with teammates to complete production goals and assist others when needed

- Take full ownership of your responsibilities and remain accountable for quality and consistency

- Adhere to all food safety regulations, allergen protocols, and sanitation policies

- Perform other duties as assigned to support kitchen or retail operations
