We are a bustling and vibrant pizza restaurant known for our delicious, hand-crafted pizzas and exceptional customer service. We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our team and help ensure our kitchen runs smoothly.
Job Description: As a Kitchen Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Head Chef and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen and dining areas. You’ll be involved in a variety of tasks, from assisting with food preparation to washing dishes and ensuring the restaurant remains spotless.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Head Chef with food preparation and cooking tasks as needed.
Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment efficiently and effectively.
Clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces, including countertops, floors, and appliances.
Ensure that all cleaning supplies are stocked and properly stored.
Help with food storage and organization to maintain a clean and orderly kitchen.
Support other kitchen staff with various tasks and responsibilities as required.
Maintain a positive attitude and contribute to a team-oriented environment.
Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is a plus but not required.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
Strong work ethic, reliability, and a willingness to learn.
Good communication skills and the ability to work well with others.
Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy items as needed.
