Mashed Burgers is seeking a talented and motivated Line Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking delicious burgers and sides in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. You will work alongside our culinary team to ensure the quality, consistency, and presentation of every dish. Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook food items according to Mashed Burgers' recipes and specifications.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workstation.
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe kitchen environment.
- Assist in prepping ingredients, including chopping, dicing, and marinating, as needed.
- Ensure all orders are prepared quickly and accurately, while maintaining high quality standards.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and effective order completion.
- Manage cooking equipment and tools to ensure proper usage and maintenance.
- Adhere to all health and safety standards in food preparation and kitchen organization.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a kitchen or line cook position is preferred but not required.
- Strong understanding of cooking techniques and kitchen equipment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality and consistency.
- Must be able to stand for long periods, lift heavy items, and work in hot conditions.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
