Job Details:
Position: Sushi Prep / Fish Slicer & Fillet Specialist
Location: Clifton, NJ
Schedule: 5 days a week
Hours: 3:00 AM – 11:30 AM (schedule may vary slightly based on business needs)
Type: Full-Time

Must be on time and dependable
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Good teamwork skills
Comfortable with repetitive tasks and cold food preparation
Physically active – the job requires continuous movement and standing
Experience in slicing fish fillets
Knife handling skills
Day-to-day duties:
Custom fish cuts to company specifications
Cut and trim fish to prepare for packing, while attaining the highest percentage yield and minimizing waste
Move fish from cooler to cutting area
Determine the quality of fish based on its physical attributes and smell
Adhere to all health, sanitation and safety regulations
Assist in other duties, as assigned
