Long established beloved Clifton, NJ pizzeria known for our delicious pizzas, salads, paninis & entrees and friendly atmosphere. We pride ourselves on providing excellent customer service and a warm dining experience for all our guests.
Job Description:
We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-oriented individuals to join our team as Counter Staff. In this role, you will be greeting customers, taking orders through a POS system handling payments, and ensuring a smooth and enjoyable dining experience.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers with a friendly and welcoming attitude
- Take orders accurately and efficiently
- Handle cash and credit card transactions
- Heating up pizza slices, and transferring them for take out.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the counter and dining area.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly.
- Assist with other tasks as needed to support the team.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in customer service or food service preferred but not required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, punctual, and a team player
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
