Island Vibes Jamaican Restaurant is looking for a part-time restaurant worker to join our team and perform cashier, food prep / handling, and general cleaning duties. Prior restaurant work experience is ideal, preferably in a Caribbean restaurant, but will train the right candidate. Must have good communication skill and work ethic to function on a diverse team. Obtaining Food Handler permit within 4 weeks of employment required.
Duties:
-Process in-store, phone, and online orders
-Cashier
-Demonstrate knowledge of menu items and prices in interacting with customers
-Monitor and communicate online orders to the Chef
-Practice and promote safe food handling and sanitary procedures
-Ensure food presentation meets standards and verify accuracy of orders
-Assist in maintaining a clean workplace; both Front of House and Back of House
