Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and customer-oriented Server/Cashier/Barista to join our team. As a Server/Cashier, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and handling cash transactions. The ideal candidate will have strong sales skills, be proficient in basic math, and have experience with cash handling and using POS systems.
Duties:
- Greet customers and provide them with menus
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Serve food and beverages to customers in a timely manner
- Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing any concerns or special requests
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area
- Assist with bussing tables and resetting them for the next customer
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a server or cashier is preferred but not required
- Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell menu items
- Basic math skills for calculating bills and making change
- Familiarity with Aloha POS system is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Exceptional time management skills
