Job Description:
As a Hostess at Lucio's, you will be our guests’ first point of contact. Your primary responsibilities will include greeting guests, managing reservations, seating guests in a timely manner, and ensuring that the front of the house operates smoothly during lunch hours and on Thursdays. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to handle high-pressure situations with grace.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly attitude
- Manage reservations and maintain an organized seating chart
- Escort guests to their tables and provide menus
- Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure efficient seating and service
- Answer phone calls and respond to guest inquiries
- Maintain a clean and organized front-of-house area
- Assist with other duties as needed to support the restaurant staff
Requirements:
- Prior experience in a customer service or hospitality role is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Availability to work during lunch hours every day and full day on Thursdays
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
