Top-rated, fast-paced pizzeria is hiring an experienced and team-oriented Pizza Maker to join our team.
6. Main Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a wide variety of pizzas, including specialty and custom orders
- Ensure all pizzas are cooked to perfection with consistent quality
- Prepare ingredients / toppings, pizza sauces and make pizza dough
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all health and safety guidelines
- Work efficiently and effectively during peak hours
- Collaborate with other employees and be a team player
- Handle over the counter customer orders and special requests with a positive attitude
7. Qualifications / Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pizza Maker
- Strong knowledge of pizza-making techniques and recipes
- Ability to make a variety of pizzas and sizes (up to 20 inch pies, Calzones, Rolls, Strombolis, etc.)
- Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication (English a must, and Spanish a plus) and teamwork skills
- Self-motivated and bring positive energy to work
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Food Handler’s certification is a plus
- Passion for food and customer service
