Overview:

Duties:
- Assist dentists during examinations and treatment procedures
- Prepare patients for dental procedures
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Maintain accurate patient records and assist with medical records management
- Provide chairside assistance during dental procedures
- Perform laboratory tasks such as making impressions of patients' teeth
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices
- Sterilize and maintain dental instruments
- Perform administrative tasks as needed
Requirements:
- Certificate or diploma from an accredited dental assistant program
- Proficiency in Eaglesoft or similar dental software
- Knowledge of aseptic techniques and infection control protocols
- Familiarity with pediatric dentistry, endodontics, and general dentistry procedures
- Ability to take vital signs and record patient information accurately
- Understanding of medical terminology and anatomy
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment
